Celestial Corner's April Mid-Month Market Co-hosted by Cherry Cola at Spaced Studios was a Success.
Me, Madi, Jero, The Celestial Collective and a handful of other awesome Creatives came together and pulled off a really fun event!
We're no stranger to running markets. We host the St Kelvins Arcade First Thursday Markets on Karangahape Road, on the first Thursday of each month.
But It's starting to get colder here in Tamaki and we thought an Indoor market, on the weekend with easy parking could be a cool experience to offer our audiences. If we held a Market at Spaced Studios would people come? We wanted to do an experiment.
We started with the most important thing an outfit for the promotional photoshoot - duh!
Madi made a Purple Velour Cherry Cola Set (which sold at the market!) and a Purple Necklace which we styled with Purple Listen Close Earrings, all items hand-made in Aotearoa by our talented Brand Partners & available below.
After we sat down and chatted ideas we decided to shoot on a duo tone purple background with an Olivia Rodrigo image for inspo - It was very 'Celestial'.
Jero shot the Feature Image for us, and we edited it to include all the information of the event on the day. We printed a big poster and a few smaller invitations to hand out in store. We were really happy with the final image!
Planning the event meant curating a collection of the coolest small businesses in Auckland we could find. We filled the line-up with vendors that sell hand-made accessories, clothing, bikini's & rave sets, hats, stickers, pins, art & decor and so much more!
On the day we knew we had made all the right choices seeing everyone all packed in and the space colourful and ready for all the market go-ers (and supportive friends and family).
